Artist Bio Peace! I'm Demostina, an edgy New York City based artist who is continuously creating and thinking oustisde the norms! I was raised in NYC and have been inlvolved in art making for as long as my memory can linger... It is not surprising to find me drawing and writing in my sketchbooks while in the subway, at a music venue or even at a local restaurant( Yes folks...while eating!) I am constantly surrounded by a menagerie of stimuli which I cannot help but process it through my work. My creative services range from freelance work to gallery exhibitions. Although I'm inspired by many things, I am often driven by human interaction, music, the metaphysical, and of course the art making process itself. I studied Illustration and Design at Parsons School of Design (NY) where I received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts. I then attended graduate school at New York University and received a Master's degree in Art Education. I currently live and work in the city as both practicing artist and educator.
